It is heavier compared to most 15.6 inch laptops, even than some workstations, for example, the 17.3 inch MSI P75 Creator weighs 4.8 pounds. It can be understood because having two fully functioning touchscreens will increase weight, too. Some say that it is not a good travel mate since it is too heavy to carry everywhere. In my opinion, it is a nice portable device for work. Yes, it is a bit heavier. However considering its capability for working during outdoor or on the go, then it shouldn't be a problem. It is an effective work travel companion. But indeed, this laptop seems a bit too heavy to be a travel companion while on vacation.
The battery inside is a 71Whr, 8-cell Li-ion battery pack. It will power the device about 5-6 hours of average use, such as editing documents, internet browsing, streaming some media content, and else. However, it will drop significantly when you are doing some heavy work while unplugged.
At last, I can say that ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo UX581GV-XB74T is a valuable laptop. It is worth every penny.
