The best thin and light laptop, Dell XPS15 9500-7002SLV-PUS, is one of the beautiful laptops that I've ever reviewed. It comes with a medium-size display but looks so wide due to four very thin bezels surrounding it. Is the performance also beautiful like the display? Well, let's find out.
Dell delivered the XPS15 with the high-performance Intel Core i7 10750H, a hexa-core processor that has a range of frequency between 2.60GHz - 5.00GHz and 12MB L3 cache. It is also equipped with integrated Intel UHD graphics. And with a power consumption of 45W, this is a power-thirsty processor.
Paired to this processor is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Graphics Card with a dedicated 4 GB GDDR5 VRAM.
The system memory is rated at 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-2933MHz SDRAM, while the storage space uses a 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive.
The engine above enables the Dell 9500-7002SLV-PUS will easily handle all simple, basic computing tasks as well as more demanding ones that related to high graphics detail. It is also able to run games although at low to medium graphics detail setting.

Dell XPS15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD display. This anti-glare screen is non-touch and has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 with an aspect ratio of 16:10. This panel provides a bright display since it has a brightness of 500nits.
As said above, this panel seems so wide almost without edges due to the very thin bezels surrounding it.
The port options are great. This ultraportable notebook has no USB Type-A port and no HDMI port. Instead, it comes with 3 USB Type-C ports, two of them are Thunderbolt 3 ones and all of them support power delivery & DisplayPort. The following is the available options:

The power source inside is an 86Whr Lithium-ion battery. Dell claims the battery can last up to 16 hours, depending on the usage and condition of the laptop.
Combined with its lightweight, only 4.5 lbs, this laptop is definitely a nice device to carry around for work outdoor.
Moreover, it is not too big with a dimension of 13.57 x 9.06 x 0.71 inches.

In the end, we believe that Dell XPS15 9500-7002SLV-PUS is the best thin and light laptop. It is well-equipped with a powerful engine and bright display and ready to handle almost all computing tasks. This laptop also features a long-life battery and portable design therefore it is nice to carry away for work everywhere.
The price of $1,399.66 when this writing is not an affordable one. Thus, we think it is more suitable for professionals and business people.
