Zenbook is a well-known Asus ultrabook series. This series always comes with a powerful engine, clear display panel, nice portability, and of course, stylish. Today, we will discuss about one of this series, Asus ZenBook 13 UX331FA-DB71.
Inside the simple but elegant case, Asus ZenBook 13 UX331FA-DB71 has a Whiskey Lake series processor, Intel Core i7-8565U, which is used by many ultrabooks today and ready to handle every task. This quad-core processor has eight threads, 8 MB cache memory, and 15 Watts thermal design power. The range of frequency is between 1.80 GHz up to a maximum of 4.60 GHz when in turbo mode. The maximum frequency can be achieved with Intel Turbo Boost Tech support. This processor has also an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620, the only graphics adapter for this laptop. So, it is not good enough for playing demanding games but still able to run simple and unpretentious games. And there is no issue to work with things like photo/video editing or CAD workflow.

To keep powerful performance, this ZenBook utilizes an 8 GB of DDR3L RAM as for system memory. It is soldered to the motherboard so it means that system memory can't further extend. However, this capacity should be enough for most people to work with their tasks. Meanwhile, as for storage drive, this notebook features a PCIe Solid State Drive. The capacity of 512 GB which comes with this drive will be enough to store data and media files. If it's not, using an external hard drive or cloud storage could be a solution.
By the specification, we can say this ultrabook is a powerful machine for working and multitasking. It is not designed for gaming however it is still able for it though not at the high setting.
Asus ZenBook 13 UX331FA-DB71 has a 13.3 inches Full HD LED-backlit display which flanked by two thin bezels, makes it seems wider. The resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels and the image aspect ratio is 16:9. This anti-glare screen panel has also 60Hz refresh rate and 72% NTSC color gamut. It features the 178° wide-view technology to assures that image quality isn't degraded when viewed at extreme angles, most-known as IPS tech.

The keyboard comes with chiclet key-size and 1.4mm key travel. There is no numeric-pad but it is has backlight that will be useful in a dim environment. The touchpad below the keyboard is wide enough with a glass covering for smooth control and supports multi-finger gestures and handwriting.

This ultrabook weighs 2.5 lbs. The dimensions are 12.4 x 8.5 x 0.6 inches. It is very portable and very nice to carry away.
Furthermore, its battery is a long-life one. Its 3-cell 50Whr lithium-ion battery pack is able to last up to 14 - 15 hours of regular use, more than a day of work. It means that you don't have to carry the charger every time you go out with your ultrabook.
